Hello and welcome to my advert.
You are looking at a 1980's Shetland Family Four 17ft multi leasure use fishing boat.
ive had this many years and decided i would restore it as its such a nice boat.
firstly i decided to replace the floor to which i used a 18mm hardwood to this i replaced the stringers with new then the whole job was fully glassed in.
at the same time i re gel coated the inside then bonded a non slip rubber floor.
I also decided to repaint her in a lovely blue and also re antifoul the hull in a hard impact aqua marine.
i didnt like to cheap crappy windows so out they came and i fitted brand new 3,mm poly carbonate clear that are break proof and uv resistant for 15 years ect ect.
the above water linde is original gel coat and looks great for its age.
ENGINES
The main engine is a Mariner 30hp fourstroke electric start power tilt and trim that has just had a full service including impellor that is nearly as powerful as a get wash.
oils also changed and a brand new power trim motor , really good engine and sounds lovely.
Aux engine is a Honda 2.5hp that has also just been given a full service and runs like a sewing machine.
Aux bracket also brand new.
Ok so ive just fitted a brand new Battery box and a Brand new 12v battery,
Brand new 12v isoloater /all new electrics /new navigation lights/
ive also just fitted a nice Lowrance fish finder and chart plotter that still sell second hand for around £300 which is quite nice.
Trailer
Trailer is a restored Indespension thats been zinked and had the following
New wheels and tyres
New bearings and races
New light board
New straps
New mudguards
has a good winch and jockey wheel.
im also including a vhf system /flares/fuel tank/anchor/ropes/chain/bouys
This really is a lovely boat and is perfect size for a family, cheap to run and launch and tows superbly .
