Ingrid Pitt was a Polish and British actress and writer. She was best known for her work in British horror cinema of the 1970s. She appeared in Countess Dracula, Where Eagles Dare, Doctor Who, The Wicker Man, among many others. Cuckoo Run was her debut novel.

This first edition, published 1980 by Futura Publications Limited, London.

Ink inscription on title page reads "To Dorothy with much love Ingrid Pitt 24.1.80."

CONDITION:

There are various signs of age, use and wear. The cover is creased, marked, and rubbed. Sticker residue on top right front cover, and bottom right rear cover. The spine has a crease running vertical straight down through title. Binding appears good, strong with no splitting at the hinges/joints. Possibly lacking a blank front end paper. Text block age toned throughout, generally in very good reading condition, no tears or loose pages, no significant folded edges etc. Large blue ink inscription on title page, no further inscriptions, highlighting, underlining or notes. 

Overall remains in good reading condition, showing typical signs of a used paperback edition. Please check through all listing photographs for a clear understanding of condition.

A very scarce edition, very few first editions available online, with this being the only signed first edition of Cuckoo Run. A wonderful collectible edition for Ingrid Pitt fans, and vintage paperback lovers.
