This is approximately 800-1000years old. This is a Norman period Crusaders cross in the 4 moon or bud (bottony) design. The crusader cross is int he center.  Very rare to find so intact and in such fine condition with a dark green patina... Dimension: 25mm  (1 inch long) this could be still used to make a unique piece of jewelry. The bale is incomplete..
