A vintage bowl-back mandolin featuring a traditional multi-ribbed body. This instrument contains an internal hand-written inscription stating "Restored by Alan Perlman Windham, Vermont 1976". It serves as a project piece for luthiers or restorers, showcasing early 20th-century construction techniques common to American-made bowl-back instruments.

Condition: For parts or repair. The instrument has significant structural damage, including a large crack running vertically through the soundboard. The tailpiece, bridge, and strings are missing. Tuning machines are present but show oxidation and wear. Sold as a restoration project or for decorative use.
