Charles "Uncle Charlie" E. Buckler (1869–1953) was an Impressionist-influenced landscape painter active in Canada and Massachusetts. He was born in Bridgetown, Nova Scotia, in 1869 and died in Melrose, Massachusetts, in 1953. Buckler painted scenic New England and Canadian landscapes, often featuring rural barns, meadows, rivers, and winter snow scenes. His work was guided by those of Claude Monet, the artist he most admired.
