About 7 1/2" high x 5 1/2" diameter.

DESCRIPTION

Rare early American redware urn / vase / crock vessel with distinctive spotted manganese splotch glaze.  Probably Maine or New Hampshire origin.  Cylindrical form with flared rim. Incised ring decorations around the center of the body. Clay coil lines plainly visible. Unglazed base.

CONDITION

Overall very good antique condition.  Some small chips around the rim.  No hairlines or evidence of repair observed.  Rich, dark color (all visible in the images).
