This rare 19th-century round bentwood spice box  9 piece set  The central piece is made to hold 8 spice boxes each spice identified by a stenciled label. Made of wood, with metal bands from the United States during the time period of 1850-1899. The brand, Patent Package Co, Newark NJ, and patent date is pressed into the bottom of each piece.

The stencil on the central piece is quite worn as well the bottom has a slight indent  , does not detract from the piece, I mention this in the interest of giving you a complete description.  A lovely , authentic ,,primitive piece to add to your home.
