VINTAGE 18" TRAVERTINE MARBLE TABLE TOP EIFFEL EAMES TRIPOD WIRE BASE 1950 ITALY

A very modern and minimalistic styled Travertine Marble side table with original Eames style wire "Eiffel" tripod base. The pictures tell the story here of how simplistically stylish this impressive and sophisticated classically designed occasional table is with its hefty Travertine Marble slab (@ 23 lbs.!) resting effortlessly on a delicate tripod wire "Eiffel" base styled exactly like Charles Eames' Iconic Low Wire base Tables for Herman Miller first produced in 1950. 

The top is in excellent condition overall with just few small nicks/chips on the underside edge of the Marble top while the wire base shows some areas of light finish wear to the Gold toned finish. The stepped triangular base support that acts as the foundation between the wire base and marble top has been completely restored with dense Birch plywood replacing the original "particle board" platform that lacked strength and integrity due to the nature of that material and age

Approximately 16" tall X 18" diameter top weighing in @ 23 lbs...hefty to say the least, hence the hefty $$ to ship it.
