Here is a superb and very colorful Pre Columbian textile Fragment. Looking closely one can see the intertwined figures of feline deities within the abstract composition. This fragment is framed on rosewood and has a sterling silver frame. It was very likely the top of a larger rosewood box sought after by collectors. Quite a large cover for this type. The bottom box could easily be built.
