This assembly links the accelerator control to the carburetter on engines in the Series 2A and 3 Land Rover.

 We think this item is the later type for Series 2A and 3 that have the Zenith Carburetter

The photos show the different positions of the carburetter relay lever 504620 to show that this moves freely on the spindle

The complete assembly is fixed by 2 bolts to the Bulkhead Support Bracket.

There are about 8 items that make up the complete assembly.

This item has had  some of the accumulated grease and dirt of the past 40 + years removed, the whole assembly needs taking apart,cleaning and re-building  before it can be fitted. 

We are supplying a Genuine new Torsion Spring with this item, which will need fitting. The original spring could do with replacing

Once the control linkage has been fitted, to get the correct degree of tension, the nut on the end of the shaft can be loosened and the adjustment can be made.

The total cost of all the new parts is just over £120 + VAT
