Both the circular top and the lower shelf feature intricate pierced patterns depicting three winged cherub or angels positioned around a central sunburst motif, interwoven with scrolling grapevines and clusters of fruit.

The outer edges of the tiers are finished with a simple reeded rim and the legs are adorned with high-relief cherub masks and floral swags where they meet the upper shelf. This piece exhibits a warm, aged patina with some darkening in the deeper recesses of the casting, which highlights the sculptural quality of the metalwork.
