A charming vintage Disney Winnie the Pooh figurine under a glass dome, capturing a scene straight from the Hundred Acre Wood. Winnie the Pooh sits with his overflowing honey pots, Tigger peers over the wicker picnic basket behind him, and Piglet looks on — all beautifully hand-painted in soft classic colours and protected under a clear glass dome on a decorative base with a bronze-effect scrolled rim. The little "HUNNY" pots and picnic details make it a lovely, self-contained Pooh display piece.

The base still carries its original retail label reading "Based on the Winnie the Pooh works. Copyright A.A. Milne and E.H. Shepard", with the multi-currency price sticker (£14.95, FF149.00, DM39.95, PT2,995) and the © Disney — Made in China mark.

Background
Disney produced a range of these glass-domed Winnie the Pooh scenes for the European gift and collectables market in the 1990s, each a small cold-cast resin tableau sealed under a glass dome. Based on A.A. Milne and E.H. Shepard's original Winnie the Pooh works, they capture Pooh and friends in classic settings and have become a nicely collectable corner of Disneyana — clean domed examples sell well among Pooh collectors. The multi-currency (Francs, Deutschmarks, Pesetas/Escudos) pricing on the base places this firmly in the pre-Euro 1990s.

Condition
Pre-owned vintage in used condition. Please note there is crazing (fine surface cracking) to the Winnie the Pooh figure and some of the honey pots, shown clearly in the photographs — this is common in these cold-cast resin pieces and does not affect the structure. The glass dome is intact with no chips or cracks noted, all three characters plus the honey pots and picnic basket are present, and the colours remain bright. The original retail sticker is still on the base. Please review all of the photographs closely, as they show the actual item you will receive and form part of this description.

Who it's for
A lovely pick-up for Winnie the Pooh and Disney collectors, fans of classic Pooh, and anyone who loves a self-contained domed display piece. A ready-made gift for a Pooh enthusiast.

Estimated Date
Circa 1990s. There is no explicit year printed, but the multi-currency retail sticker priced in French Francs, Deutschmarks and Pesetas/Escudos — all pre-Euro currencies retired in 2002 — together with the © Disney / Made in China marking, places this in the 1990s. Offered as a genuine vintage Disney piece rather than a modern reproduction.
