This rare Real Photo Postcard (RPPC) provides a stunning high-angle view of Caracas, Venezuela, dating to the early 1900s. The foreground features the expansive railway station and associated buildings, showing early 20th-century infrastructure. The city spreads through the valley toward the towering mountains, which are partially shrouded in clouds as noted by the sender. The Solio stamp box on the reverse dates this card to approximately 1903-1920. A superb historical record of South American rail and urban development.
Buying more than one?
You can save on shipping by purchasing multiple items—I'll automatically combine shipping for anything bought at the same time. Add the cards you want to your cart and check out when you're ready.
For postcards priced over $20 (Buy It Now): I ship these first-class in a sturdy cardboard mailer, with the postcard protected in a hard plastic top loader.
For postcards under $20 and auction wins: These are shipped using eBay's standard envelope service (delivered by USPS), packed in a semi-rigid mailer. If you prefer upgraded protection with first-class shipping, please message me before completing your payment.
Important note about eBay standard envelope shipping: This option doesn't get scanned like regular packages, so tracking can sometimes be inaccurate. It may show as “delivered” once it reaches your local post office—even if it hasn't arrived at your door yet. Please be patient, and don't hesitate to contact me if you're concerned about delivery.
*To keep shipping costs reasonable for customers outside of the U.S., international orders do not include tracking*
