My mother graduated from St. Lawrence University in 1937. This banner was hers.
She would have gotten it sometime between 1933 and 1937.

It is darkest brown felt with applied red decoration that is raised.

The red decoration is thin FELT just like the brown.
I do not know how they got the red on. It is NOT stitched on. The coat of arms is NOT a separate piece!!

SIZE is approximately 17 inches wide by 14 inches tall.

CONDITION:  Extremely good for its age.  NO moth damage, NO staining, NO surface damage of any kind. All the decoration is permanently applied.

IMPORTANT:  See our pictures ! The outside edges are "wavy", the edges of this banner do not lie flat. If this was framed that would not be noticeable.

Make sure to check our pictures please - !
