This piece needs a repair!!!!!!

Please read this offer very carefully because it may influence your further interest. I hope you are more intrepid than rejecting because it needs a minor repair by a good jeweler.

The pin back needs to be re-affixed, and it has to be handled by somebody who knows what they’re doing.

It cannot be traditionally heat soldered because of the gold Plating material and the underlying metal that is possibly zinc. It either has to be glued or it has to be rejoined by somebody who works in these kinds of heat sensitive metals. Traditional hot soldering would absolutely destroy this piece. The pin back sets into the prongs shown and could possibly be set back in and prongs squeezed into place, but that is above my pay grade. AI refers to alternate types of soldering processes that I have no knowledge or experience

This signed, dated 87 for 1987 Billy Boy ABSOLUT brooch features a rare to find vodka bottle and martini glass, both fitted with real crystal and a real Ruby. Matte gold toned finish add a classic look.

Various friends suggested I just add a jump ring and wear as a necklace, but I want this to go to a Billy Boy lover, as I inherited it from one, and it would be better served by somebody who adores Billy Boy—whom I did not know much about until now.
