Synopsis
All five 12-minute chapters of Volume 2 are included in this release, chronicling Anakin's rise to Jedi Knight; as well as General Grievous' daring attack against the Republic capital, leading directly into the events of 'Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith'. As the Republic desperately fights back against the Separatist forces, Anakin Skywalker is promoted to the status of Jedi Knight, forgoing the spirit trials in an effort to boost the Jedi Order's flagging morale, in the face of General Grievous's relentless assault. While Mace Windu and Yoda protect Coruscant from the advancing Droid forces, Anakin and Master Kenobi are dispatched to the planet of Nelvaan with the mission of tracking down Grievous. However, instead of Grievous, the two heroes discover a race of creatures who have been enslaved by the Separatists and Anakin vows to free them no matter what the cost. Meanwhile on Coruscant, Grievous has staged an outrageous kidnap attempt on Chancellor Palpatine, as Shaak Ti, Ronet Corobb and Foul Moudama desperately try to keep the Jedi-slayer at bay.
