Cast Iron Still Bank
Boston Terrier Dog Figurine
Painted Cast Metal, 6 Inches Tall

A vintage-style cast iron still bank depicting a seated Boston Terrier puppy. This piece captures the classic aesthetic of early 20th-century coin banks with its heavy metal construction and two-piece mold. Such banks are highly collectible both as canine-themed folk art and for their historical significance as household saving tools from the mid-to-late 20th century.

• Heavy cast iron construction with a traditional two-piece design secured by a central screw
• Hand-painted black and white coat with a detailed red collar
• Wide coin slot located at the nape of the neck for currency insertion
• Measurements: 6 inches height, 4 inches width, 4 inches depth

Condition: Fair condition with visible paint loss, scuffs, and chips throughout the finish as seen in photos, revealing the underlying metal. No structural cracks or breaks observed in the cast iron. The original screw is present and holds the sections firmly together. Minor surface oxidation is present in areas of paint loss. The base is flat and stable for display.
