A Gorham aesthetic sterling silver card case with a bird on a branch looking at a butterfly in a gilded oval frame. The case has a lovely box chain attached. The back has the same gilded oval inscribed L.E. Chubbuck, March 22, 1883. Weight 2.65 troy oz. Length 4 1/8" by 2 1/4". Chain has a 5" drop. There is a light crease and ding on the reverse side of the card case when tilted in the light (see last picture). The front is in very good condition with no dents or splits. The hinge is good.
