English translation of title:
Laws of the Republic of Pennsylvania,
in translated excerpts,
containing the applicable public laws up to the year 1805, inclusive;
as well as
the Constitutions of the United States and of Pennsylvania.
Antique, well over two centuries old, very early 19th century leatherbound, hardcover book in overall near good condition with front coverboard detached but present; an early book of Pennsylvania laws, completely in German, only with 1807 printed U.S. Constitution completely in German and Pennsylvania state constitution, also completely in German. Exterior of the book has chipping to the leather spine face that continues to shed and the outer edges of the boards and spine also have rubbing with exterior clean. Interior of the book has light to moderate foxing and toning throughout on sturdy pages that are otherwise bright and well intact and with only other minor wear from age, use, storage or handling. Binding of the pageblock is well intact with the back coverboard still firmly attached to the rest of the book. Book is complete with all pages present and none coming loose, detached or missing. Book has no odors.
Book totals 766 pages followed by an unpaginated index. Book measures approximately 8 1/4 x 5 1/4 x 2 1/4 inches and weighs about 2 pounds.
