Bring timeless French craftsmanship into your home with this beautiful handmade solid copper basin, professionally converted into a unique vessel sink.
Originally a high-quality French copper preserving pan, this piece has been carefully transformed while retaining its wonderful character and authentic aged patina. The thick copper construction, hand-riveted brass handles and traditional craftsmanship make this a true statement piece for any bathroom, cloakroom, campervan, shepherd's hut or rustic kitchen.
Unlike modern lightweight alternatives, this is made from heavy-gauge copper and has a reassuring weight and quality that immediately stands out.
The basin has been fitted with a standard waste fitting and is ready to install. A waste pipe is included. (Copper Coloured)
This is a countertop vessel basin.
Simply cut a hole large enough for the waste fitting to pass through your worktop, apply a suitable adhesive such as Fix All or similar beneath the rim if desired, and connect the supplied waste pipe to your plumbing.
Good vintage condition with the expected marks, scratches and aged patina developed over many years of use. These are not faults—they are part of the character and authenticity of the piece. Please study the photographs carefully as they form part of the description.
A small amount of standing water may remain around the waste fitting after use due to the original shape of the copper pan. This is normal for converted vintage basins and can be removed easily during normal cleaning and maintenance.
Returns are accepted only if the item arrives damaged in transit or if the incorrect item has been supplied. Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and provide photographs if the item has been damaged during shipping.
