Mounted Steer Horns - Leather and Rope Wrapped
Vintage Western Wall Decor, Circa Late 20th Century
This set of vintage mounted steer horns captures the rugged aesthetic of traditional Southwestern and Western decor. The piece features two natural horns secured to a central wooden block, embellished with dark brown leather-textured wrapping, braided rope accents, and decorative metal studs. These horns were a staple of mid-to-late 20th-century Western interior design, frequently utilized in ranches, trophy rooms, and themed commercial spaces.
• Natural steer horns with authentic color gradients from cream to dark tips
• Central mount wrapped in textured synthetic leather with twisted rope borders and metal rivets
• Wooden mounting board featuring an ink stamp reading "HECHO EN MEXICO" with address details
• Measures approximately 23" in total length with a 5" height
Condition: Used good vintage condition. The horns exhibit natural texture and some superficial age-appropriate wear. The wrapping and rope accents remain secure. Metal studs show visible oxidation and surface rust consistent with vintage materials. The wood base is structurally sound and includes a metal hanging loop and pre-drilled holes for mounting.
