A gorgeous and increasingly sought-after piece of 1950s British JAJ Pyrex — the Gaiety Snowflake deep rectangular Space Saver, in the beautiful pink colourway.
Made by James A. Jobling (JAJ), England, this is the deep oblong model 2162 / 541, equivalent to the American Pyrex 575. The Gaiety Snowflake range was introduced in Britain in 1958, making this a wonderful example of early British vintage Pyrex.
The deep Space Saver has a lovely mid-century rectangular form, with the original raised white snowflake decoration against the pink ground, together with the original clear glass Pyrex lid.

Condition
Overall, a lovely example for its age, but please note this is a vintage piece showing signs of age and previous use.
The pink decoration remains attractive and the snowflake pattern is still clear. There are some signs of wear consistent with age, including minor surface/paint wear.
The clear glass lid has visible surface scratching and some wear around the edges, which I have photographed closely. Please study all photographs carefully as they form an important part of the description.
There are no obvious major cracks or large chips visible in the dish itself.
A beautiful piece for a JAJ Pyrex collector, mid-century kitchen display or anyone who loves the gorgeous 1950s Gaiety range.
