I have for sale an amazing near perfect enamel pinned dial from the Hampden Watch factories in Springfield Mass from the year 1877 only 12 yrs after the American civil war. This is a large piece as it is an 18 size with the case being 55mm across with a brand new period glass crystal installed. There is a name engraved on the back and it reads " David Wilson". The hands are thing railroad pieces and original. The movement is with 11 clean and inspected jewels and it is a full plate key wind and key set movement as it is the first model ever produced from Hampden.  The dial is even pinned into the movement which is again a very early pocket watch. the serial number is an early 65,062 which of coarse dates this Museum piece to thy ear 1877. American made with a new main spring and off it goes to keep great time. The key and chain are included for sure ;-)
