The National Jamboree for the Scouting America (Boy Scouts of America) was held at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in Mt. Hope, West Virginia from July 22 - July 31 2026. Although smaller than previous jamborees, it was an awesome experience and makes me very hopeful for future jamborees, and all of scouting. 

This is the official jamboree earned Medal of Honor (Character Developmental Program) patch. Gold mylar border depicting the 3 medal of honors. Dangle for immediate wear with your credentials to show you earned it. 


The Medal of Honor Character Development Program at the 2026 National Jamboree (held at the Summit Bechtel Reserve) featured interactive, values-based lessons. Scouts visited the Legacy Village tent to engage in activities, earn exclusive program patches (like the one in this auction), and meet real Medal of Honor recipients.

Lessons are structured around six key pillars: Courage, Commitment, Integrity, Sacrifice, Citizenship, and Patriotism.  Scouts had the unique opportunity to meet three of the nation’s 65 living Medal of Honor recipients. This program was run in partnership with the Congressional Medal of Honor Society. It is designed to act as an educational and Social Emotional Learning (SEL) resource, utilizing the profound stories of these military heroes to teach youth integrity and positive character development. I consider this one of the best program areas of the entire jamboree.
