The Tripp Lite SUPDMB20K8D (also referenced as SUPDMB20K in documentation) is a detachable redundant PDU module designed specifically for select SmartOnline UPS systems, enabling N+1 fault-tolerant configurations or increased capacity by combining outputs from two compatible UPS power modules.​

Primary function

Combines power from two SU8000RT3UPM or SU10000RT3UPM UPS modules (post-6/2010 models with USB/PARALLEL ports) for redundancy, with a manual bypass switch allowing hot-swappable replacement of modules without interrupting connected equipment.​
Hardwired input supports 200-240 VAC at 50/60 Hz, making it suitable for high-voltage data center or server room UPS setups.​

Output and protection

Provides (8) C19 outlets and (2) L6-30R receptacles at 200-240 VAC nominal voltage, with overload protection via 2 double-pole 30A breakers and 8 double-pole 20A breakers.​
Sheet metal construction measures 20.5 x 7 x 4.5 inches (52.1 x 17.8 x 11.4 cm) and weighs about 14.5 lbs, certified to UL1778 (4th Edition), CSA, and EN62040-1 standards
