Up for auction is a vintage Walter Baker &Company gold metal crate for the 1900’s .   crate is for 12 lbs. of chocolates and is made in Dorchester, Mass.  crate is in nice used condition as shown.  There is a #4 on the bottom.  Crate has a slight shine to it so I am unsure if it has been treated with something.  There is a small chip in one side and all but one side has a split.  Crate measures 7” tall, 7.25” wide, and 10.25” across.  From a smoke-free home.  A great addition to anyone’s collection
