Manufactured in much smaller quantities than the model K and L types, this is a very rare Otis King Model N Cash type calculator, marked with scale numbers 422 and 424.

Designed to handle British sterling currency calculations in £sd cash amounts on the upper 424 scale, the lower 422 scale is for conversion of metric and imperial weights and measures.

It comes in its original soft leather case with the Otis King gold logo which is still in sound condition, but has shrunk a little over the years making it a very snug but manageable fit. 

In good working order, the white on black paper scales are in very good condition with only one or two very minor scuffs, although there is some chrome loss on the main barrel (see last photo)

Dating to the 1920s and numbered A9809, the scarcity of this model cannot be understated and is a must for any collection.
Weighing 180 grams in its leather case, it comes with a later copy of a marketing leaflet.
