Description
This antique Real Photo Postcard (RPPC) depicts a scenic view of Maligne Canyon in Jasper, Alberta, Canada. The image shows a person standing by a rushing mountain stream surrounded by tall evergreen trees and rocky terrain, characteristic of the Canadian Rockies landscape. The back of the card is marked with the publisher information "Harmon" and "Topographical Photographer Jasper Park," along with their address in Anna Ara, Lloimpidikhoidham, Sask. This appears to be an early 20th century photographic postcard from the Byron Harmon Studio, known for their iconic Rocky Mountain photography. The postcard is unposted and remains in good condition for its age. This is a nice example of early Canadian tourism photography from the Jasper National Park region.
