Besson USA Trombone

Unfamiliar with musical instruments, so unsure what type - please view photos!

There are 2 numbers that are found on different parts:

K 1108

This appears to have been well used - there is much wear to the finish and some dents.  Case is pretty sturdy but shows wear from use as well.
