This is an interesting lot of OLD UNITED STATES stamps including 1850's, a 90 cent Bank Note issue, 1869 issues and a ca. 1869 cover with a dated manuscript cancel ( MEDFORD, ME.).
There are a few faulty items and a few BETTER stamps. The faults include a nibbed corner on the 90 cent Perry. There appears to be a repair ? on the 10 cent green Washington as something is adhering to the bottom right corner. The stamp has a nice appearance and does not show faults from the front. There are faults in this lot to include a heavy cancellation, close cut edges, short perforations, straight edge, no gum, hinge remnants, etc. (see pictures)
It is customary that many of the earliest U.S. stamps may have pen cancels, pin holes, clipped perforations, color changeling (orange) , etc. This older lot includes stamps from the 1850's and there are (10) stamps / items in this lot.

These items were found together and they are being offered that way. Other than mentioned, there are only a few small faults noted and this is a nice lot. The cover is roughly opened on the right edge and it appears to have a sound sound stamp with a few perforation faults. (see close-up pictures)
