Atop the flask sits a gold-gilt figural bird sculpture, and the neck opening is trimmed in gold. The flask is adorned with raised relief dragon decoration on the reverse side, orange plum blossom flowers, and flowing blue scroll work. The reverse side features additional dragon and cloud motifs in relief.
