Mattel's 1969 "Brain Drain" series consists of six vintage planar polyform brain-teaser dexterity puzzles featuring bold psychedelic op-art designs, durable plastic pieces, and clear plastic cover cases.
Gameplay: Players remove and fit or slide interlocking colorful shapes inside a frame tray to solve specific spatial configurations. The backside of the "Brain Drain" graphic can be flipped over to reveal the solution in amazing late sixties style graphics.
Completeness: Puzzle has the original clear plastic front cover intact with one crack going across the "B" of brain type in upper left corner. It is limited to the clear cover and hasn't gone to the edges.Backing Condition: The instructions are printed directly on the back card; no severe water stains, limited tape residue, some tearing and punctures on back cover expected for something over 50 years.Color Vibrancy: All op-art aesthetic colors still pop.
