A WONDERFUL POOLE POTTERY, 1950’S FLORAL ‘LY’ PATTERN,
BARREL SHAPED LARGE BEER JUG / WATER PITCHER.
Backstamp: Impressed Mark & Shape No. 127, along with painted marks for pattern and decorator (Jean Cockram, 1945-57)
Size: approx. 15cm max. diameter - 21cm spout to back of handle - 19cm high (nominally 7 1/2”)

Originally a 1930’s shape designed by John Adams this substantial barrel shape large beer jug / water pitcher is beautifully decorated in the charming LY floral pattern.
In overall excellent clean condition free of any chips, cracks, crazing or pattern loss.
There is just a very shallow 3mm wide glaze flake to the spout, most inconspicuous to the naked eye, but shown ruthlessly in final macro detail photo.
