Gibson 1976 Firebird 76 Bicentennial

Description

1976 Gibson "Firebird '76 Bicentennial"
The Bicentennial Firebirds were released in 1976 to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the founding of the United States!

Based on the reverse-body Firebird released in 1963, this model was released to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the founding of the United States.

While retaining the through-neck construction, it features a stop tailpiece and gold hardware.
The finishes available were sunburst, natural, black, and white, and production continued with the same specifications until around 1979.

This particular guitar is a 1976 model with a sunburst finish!

The exterior shows some wear commensurate with its age, but overall it is in excellent condition for a vintage piece of gear!

The interior is also original, with the exception of one replaced strap pin!
