Pair of matching fancy sterling silver spoons, one large (6 inches long) one smaller (5 1/8 ounces).  They weigh a total of 45 grams.

The matching spoons have intricate flower/plant designs up the front and back of the stem. Each has STERLING, PATENT and a three-part hallmark on the back of the lower stem.  

The hallmark is a Large A in an emblem between a bird and another symbol (sickle or measuring caliper?) which is from the Alvin Manufacturing Company that was acquired by Gorham in 1928.
