Very Pretty Vintage French Oak Single Drawer Side Table / Bedside Cabinet
We bought this from a local antique market near to Chartres in the Central region of France.
It's quite a traditional style French bedside cabinet. It's not an exceptionally high quality antique item that commands several hundreds of pounds, however it's very pretty, and the wood grain on show is really rather nice.
We suspect that this may have been made in the 60's or 70's.
The cabinet has a single slim drawer, and beneath this an open cupboard.
It is quite wide and relatively low in comparison with some other similar bedsides we have owned in the past, making it a little more practical for more modern lower beds. It would be equally at home next to a sofa in a lounge setting.
Overall the condition of the cabinet is very good. There are a couple of very minor marks, however overall it's in very good condition for a vintage piece of furniture. We have tried to capture this in the photographs.
We have recently applied a new coat of boiled linseed oil to enhance its sheen.

If you wish to organise a courier to collect the item, we are happy for you to do this at your own risk and cost. For an item such as this, we will not be able to wrap it for the courier, so please ensure that they bring blankets.
