Up for sale an original vintage Fort Myers News-Press Newspaper special insert titled "Welcome Royals" and was an insert about the new Kansas City Royals team. This dates from March 6, 1969 and is from this teams first season in the MLB. This features photos and articles on the Kansas City Royals MLB baseball team. Filled with great photos, advertisements, articles and text. The newspaper is in nice condition for its age. Some foxing and a couple small pinholes on the front page located near the original fold. Some edge wear, no tears and no missing pages. Total of 8 pages. Measures approx. 22 7/8" by 15" wide. Being sold as seen in the photos and as found. A great addition to any collection. Rare item and is a must for any vintage baseball collector. Glare spots are from the lights reflection and not on the actual item.
