For sale here is a VERY RARE 100% original early 1970's vintage British made tracksuit jacket from the long defunct Russell Hall Sportswear company, it is part of their "Javelin" suit but it would appear from the original packaging included that this was sold as a separate.

Jacket is very typical of it's era, the quality of materials is very good and Russell Hall was worn by top sportsmen and women of the day including Virginia Wade and Geoff Hurst, there is a YKK zip front, ribbed cuffs and high collar with striping.

CONDITION: Jacket is in deadstock new unworn condition complete with original factory bag as per photographs. There are zero flaws, this comes from the redundant stock of a long closed-down sports shop.

SIZE: Label size is LARGE, but this is a vintage size and commercial clothes sizing has become a lot more generous since the 1970's and it measures up more like a modern Medium in my opinion, please pay careful attention to the measurements as they come up on the tape which are as follows: 40" chest (20" pit-to-pit), 19" under-arm, 24.5" total length from rear collar seam to bottom hem of jacket.

ONE ONLY, this is a painfully rare survivor, worthy of going into an archive or ideal for stage/film/tv costume.
