SCX 6123 is a detailed 1:32 scale slot car replicating the Subaru Impreza WRC driven by four-time World Rally Champion Tommi Mäkinen during the 2002 FIA World Rally Championship. Finished in the iconic blue and yellow Subaru World Rally Team livery with race number 8, SCX 6123 captures one of the most recognisable rally cars of the early 2000s. It is an excellent choice for collectors of World Rally Championship models and Subaru enthusiasts.
The real Subaru Impreza WRC was one of the defining rally cars of its generation. Built to FIA World Rally Car regulations, it featured permanent four-wheel drive, a turbocharged 2.0-litre boxer engine and advanced suspension designed to tackle gravel, tarmac and snow. After achieving great success with Richard Burns, Subaru signed Tommi Mäkinen for the 2002 season. Although the partnership produced mixed results, Mäkinen's experience helped develop the Impreza WRC, laying the foundations for future championship success. The distinctive blue and yellow 555-inspired livery remains one of the most famous colour schemes in rallying history.
