German Vignette Stamps - Group of 20 out of minimum 581 Stamps- Series "By Land to India" by Sven Hedlin. All are NG with no major flaws. See photo to assess condition. 

By Land to India (German: Zu Land nach Indien) is a two-volume travelogue published in 1910 by the famed Swedish explorer and geographer Sven Hedin. It chronicles his arduous 1905–1906 overland expedition through Persia (modern Iran), Seistan, and Baluchistan.
Departing from Trebizond and Tehran, Hedin’s journey was politically motivated by the "Great Game"—the geopolitical rivalry between the British and Russian Empires. While he explored and mapped the rugged landscapes of the Middle East, his primary objective was to reach India to observe how British colonial rule functioned and investigate potential trans-Asian railway routes. The book is renowned for its vivid, ethnographical descriptions of local cultures and physical geographies, as well as its rich illustrations. 
 Condition Abbreviations: MNH Mint Never Hinged; MLH Mint Light Hinged (some gum disturbance due to having hinges on the back for mounting or disturbed gum due to being affixed to an album page with full original gum); MH Mint Hinged with a hinge remnant and original gum (OG); NG No Gum. No original gum either as issued or because the stamp has been removed from a page and the stamp has been soaked to remove album page paper.

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND that the bulk of the cinderella stamps I sell are OLD, many over 100 years old. They will not look like new stamps; they will not be perfect in most cases. Sometimes they have thinning, tears, page remnants. I try to describe flaws but am not perfect. When stamps are marked MNH they have intact (undisturbed gum) and are in as close to "like new" condition as stamps of this age get.

Shipped first class mail with packaging that protects your purchase. Shipping and handling is $2.50 in the US and for outside of the US, $3.50 for large envelopes. Items are normally shipped via U.S. Postal Service First Class mail. Orders over $40.00 are shipped insured with tracking, so the charge will be $7.00 for orders within the US, $15.00 for orders outside the US. I always combine shipping on multiple stamp/ephemera sales when items are paid for as a group.
