The Carver HR-742 is a vintage early-1990s A/V stereo receiver known for its 80
watts RMS per channel (into 8 ohms), "Magnetic Field" amplification,
and proprietary Sonic Holography circuitry for an enhanced soundstage.
It features a robust, industrial, black-finished design, including a
built-in phono stage and substantial input options for video and audio
components.
