Up for auction is a violet ray wand from Master Appliances in Marion, Indiana.  It is model #M66.  These were advertised as curing just about anything.  These were not made anywhere after 1951 when the FDA sued these companies and confiscated these wands.  This one appears to be an early 20th century model and appears to be made of black Bakelite with a Bakelite knob on one end.  As far as I know, it does not work.  Nothing happened when I plugged it in.  I am selling this as a collectible and NOT as an actual working device.   It is in very good condition being clean with no chips, cracks, or repairs.  

Please look closely at the pictures to determine the grade before you bid.  Any bright white or light areas in the pictures are just reflections and are not on the item.  

I don't know exactly how old it is as we are not the original owners.  It has just been stored away with other collectibles in a climate-controlled area in our smoke free home since we have had it.  It measures a little over 3 1/2" at the widest x a little over 5 1/2" at the longest.  This is a great item at a great price with no reserve. 

I will ship this to you carefully packaged in a box via USPS mail.  Buyer is to pay the actual shipping cost.  If E-Bay miscalculates and you pay too much I will refund you the difference if it is over $1.00.  If you pay too little, I will absorb that cost so you don't pay anymore.  I can combine shipments to give you the best shipping cost.
