Beautiful English countryside scene of a mountain lake and three ladies finding a bird's nest while presenting a garland towards the lake. Reminiscent of classical mythological scenes, it is a wonderful example of English Neoclassicism in the Georgian Era.
Attributed to British artist George Henry Morland based on the subject matter and skill, and the name and date written on verso.
Condition: Good condition. Craquelure on the canvas, chips and losses on the frame. Canvas has been relined.
Does not carry authentication. Selling as is.

Claims
In the case of a shipping damage claim, all packing
materials must be saved, artwork photographed at time of signature and reported
immediately to us. We will then assist
with the claim.
RETURNS
If
you wish to return your item please do so within 14 business days of delivery
date for a full refund. Please note it is best to contact us within 7
days of receiving your item to make a return.
If you do not start the return within 14 business days, you have up to two months (60 DAYS) however the refund
will not include any of the shipping and packing fees or return shipping. Further, the item must be in the same
condition as when sold.

Total shipping cost (including packing fees) must be covered
by buyer.
An invoice is
generated and sent with total costs after offers are accepted.
Payment is
appreciated within 7 days of the auction’s end date.
