This is a nylon-string electric-acoustic guitar that combines the gentle, warm tone of a classical guitar with the playability that Taylor is known for.
The body features a solid Sitka spruce top and solid sapele back and sides. It can be used for a wide range of genres, from fingerstyle and bossa nova to pop and jazz.
Equipped with Taylor's unique ES-N pickup system, it naturally outputs the delicate nuances inherent in nylon strings to the amplifier. It performs exceptionally well in live performances and recordings.
The neck is designed to be thinner than a typical classical guitar, making it less jarring when switching from an electric guitar or steel-string acoustic guitar, and is recommended for those new to nylon-string guitars.
