This particular pass is designated for a Car Inspector in the New York Division.Penn Central (PC): The top middle and top right passes show the era following the massive 1968 merger between the Pennsylvania Railroad and the New York Central (forming Penn Central). It includes a 1972 annual pass.Conrail: The left column and center pass represent the transition to Consolidated Rail Corporation (Conrail), the government-backed entity created in 1976 to rescue the bankrupt Penn Central and other Northeast lines.
