Antique Chinese Famille Rose "Hundred Boys" Ginger Jar – Late Qing Period
Beautiful Chinese porcelain ginger jar decorated in the traditional Famille Rose palette with the highly desirable Hundred Boys motif, symbolizing prosperity, happiness and good fortune.
This finely hand-painted jar features lively scenes of boys in procession together with an auspicious dragon and traditional Chinese landscape elements. The base is finished with a distinctive turquoise glaze and an unglazed foot rim.
Attributed to the Late Qing period (late 19th–early 20th century).
