The EA Technology UltraTEV® Plus² Locator Probe is an accessory designed for use with the UltraTEV® Plus² to accurately locate the source of Transient Earth Voltage (TEV) activity detected during partial discharge (PD) inspections. Acting as a second TEV sensor, it compares the arrival time of TEV pulses to determine the direction of the discharge source. The probe also supports an advanced locator mode that provides a live histogram for improved identification of single or multiple PD sources in high-voltage electrical equipment.
