DESCRIPTION:

Gorgeous Pro Street 1966 Chevrolet pick up in Torch Red 2-stage urethane and powered by a professionally built 572 cu. in. Chevrolet Big Block which is backed by a Turbo 400 automatic transmission and 12-bolt GM rear differential. This truck had a frame off build completed in the early 2000’s and has been primarily used for display in the customer’s business. It does have Vintage Air A/C & heat. Total miles driven is approximately 800. Owner selling for personal reasons.

The all-steel body is exceptionally straight with little to no bodywork done. The wooden bed is in perfect condition with custom wheel housings for the larger tires. Tailgate is also a custom item. All glass, exterior chrome, weather stripping and trim are in excellent condition.

The 572 cu. in. Chevrolet engine was built by Samakow Racing Engines in Capitol Heights, MD. Estimated horsepower is approximately 600. It runs on pump gas and features Brodix aluminum heads, Edelbrock intake manifold, Holley double pumper 750 cfm carburetor, MSD ignition, hydraulic roller cam, forged internals, ceramic coated headers and a 3” exhaust system.

The fuel system uses a high performance fuel pump with a 16-gallon Arts fuel cell and an Oberg fuel filter. All fuel, heater, and brake lines are braided with AN fittings.

The transmission is a Turbo 400 with a deep pan, B&M shift kit and 3000 stall converter. A B&M Pro Shifter with reverse lockout handles the gear selection.

The interior features a custom tweed upholstery and matching plush carpeting. The dashboard was refinished and customized with refurbished factory gauges, Auto-Meter Monster tachometer, Auto-Meter water temperature, fuel pressure, oil pressure, and voltmeter. Vintage Air controls were built into the gauge pod. It also has a 4-speaker Sony sound system with a USB/Bluetooth/CD player.

The chassis features a lowered stock front end with all new bushings, springs, sway bar, 4-wheel power disc brakes, CPP power steering, 12-Bolt rear differential with 4.10:1 posi-traction gears. Wheels and tires are 15” Billet Specialties aluminum with M/T Sportsman 31/16.5/15 rear and 235/70/15 front.  

Please note that the Vintage Air A/C has never been charged. The heat does work.

This ’66 Chevy Pickup would definitely be a multi show winner wherever it goes, no disappointments.
