Guitar Lucky Charm Musical Instrument Player Sixpence Keyring & Gift Bag
The design of the sixpences is the same for each year, just the date is different.
Handmade 23mm diameter coin keyring, organza gift bag included.
The tradition of the "lucky sixpence" started way back in the early 1600's. This started as a wedding token to be placed in the bride's shoe and later in the Victorian era sixpences where put into Christmas puddings. They have become a symbol of good luck in general over the years. If you would like a particular year for your sixpence please choose from the drop down menu.
The coins are taken from circulation and are hand cleaned and polished. They will show some signs of wear but are in good condition for their age. No scratched or damaged coins are used, they might have slight edge knocks but the face of the coin will be fine. The coins are hand set in a Tibetan silver cabochon tray which is a metal alloy similar to pewter.
