An attractive Rye Pottery "The Nun-Prioress" figurine from the Chaucer "Canterbury Tales" series:

"Full well she sang a service, with a fine

Intoning through her nose, as was most seemly,

And she spoke daintily in French, extremely,

After the school of Stratford-atte-Bow.".

It is about 7.25" tall, and is in very good condition with no damage (See photos). It has its original sticky label. The retail price of this figurine is £125.
